Nothing happened. That is the part everybody keeps missing. Nothing happened, and the blanket is still necessary, and I would rather not go over it again.

People keep crouching down to my level and asking in a soft voice what is wrong, as if there has to be a specific thing. There does not have to be a specific thing. I was fine at four in the afternoon and by seven I was in here, and somewhere in between the day quietly went in a direction I did not agree with.

I am aware that I look small like this. That is not a counterargument. The blanket comes off when the evening apologises in a way I find convincing, and evenings have historically been very bad at that.
